Adkison, Need, Allen, & Rentrop, PLLC in Bloomfield Hills is pleased to announce that Jennifer H. Elowsky, Esq. has joined the firm as an of-counsel attorney and will be a member of our municipal practice group.  Ms. Elowsky has extensive experience representing municipalities in an array of matters including land use and zoning, development projects, special assessments, and ordinance regulation.  She serves as general counsel for the Charter Township of Milford, the Village of Milford, and the Village of Wolverine Lake.

You may have heard that the Corporate Transparency Act recently took effect.  This is a federal law that requires the majority of small businesses to complete a filing with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (a division of the U.S. Treasury Department) to disclose their “beneficial ownership”.

We were pleased to sponsor both a team and a hole at the annual Royal Oak Police Department's Charity Golf Outing held on Monday August 5th. Proceeds from this year's outing were donated to the Animal Shelter of Royal Oak and the Police Donation Fund. Our golfers included Laura Peters and Robert Goldman.

The conference will focus on changing laws that affect both new and existing projects and discussions on current legal issues that impact real property law in the State of Michigan.
